The new services are being marketed under the ‘Granite Motor Assistance’ brand – expanding on the successful Granite Breakdown offering which has been extremely well received during the last 18 months when the incidences of vehicle breakdown have increased due to vehicles not being able to be maintained as well as before the pandemic. The host of additional security for motorists on offer range from GAP Insurance, tyre, and alloy- wheel insurance to warranties for new and second-hand cars. Although the company expect that there will be the most interest initially for its Motor Policy Excess insurance.
