
The 11th Annual Northern Ireland Road Safety Awards took place today, Friday 21st November 2025, at Belfast Castle, honouring those whose dedication to road safety is making a real difference across the region. CRASH Services, as headline sponsor, was proud to support this prestigious event, celebrating the individuals and organisations driving positive change in road safety.
More than 100 distinguished guests attended the ceremony, where a total of 12 awards were presented across various sectors, including education, emergency services, the voluntary sector, business, and the public sector.
The event’s highest honour, the Lifetime Achievement Award, was presented to Lynda Hurley by Liz Kimmins MLA, Minister for Infrastructure, in recognition of Linda’s long-standing dedication to improving road safety in Northern.
Minister Kimmins said: “I would like to congratulate Linda on receiving this prestigious lifetime achievement award, which is greatly deserved. Linda’s dedication and commitment to improving road safety has shone through in the work she has done. I would like to personally thank Linda for helping to deliver our road safety objectives on behalf of the Department.”
Davy Jackson, Chair of Road Safe NI commented, “We’re proud to shine a spotlight on those going above and beyond to promote road safety. Our heartfelt thanks go to all our sponsors, whose support makes these awards possible.”
The winners stood out for their long-term dedication and innovative approaches to road safety. “The work being done in our schools, communities, emergency services, and businesses is truly inspiring,” Jackson continued. “These awardees are making a real impact, and their efforts are undoubtedly saving lives.”
