Supporting Safer Young Drivers Through New Driver NI

CRASH Services has renewed its sponsorship of the New Driver NI Safety Ambassador Programme for a third consecutive year, helping deliver free road safety presentations to sixth-form students across Northern Ireland. The programme provides practical guidance on learning to drive, vehicle ownership, insurance, road safety and responsible motoring, while encouraging students to sign the ‘Share the Road to Zero’ pledge. Through its ongoing support, CRASH Services continues to promote safer driving habits among young motorists and contribute to road safety education throughout the region.

CRASH Services are proud to announce their continued sponsorship of the New Driver NI Safety Ambassador programme for a third year.  New Driver NI visits over 100 sixth form schools across Northern Ireland each year to deliver an award winning “Safe Motoring” presentation.

The presentation covers learning to drive, buying, insuring and maintaining a car, collision advice, penalty points and road safety. All students are given a free 68 page New Driver Guide and encouraged to sign the Department for Infrastructure’s “Share the Road to Zero” pledge.

Stephen Savage from New Driver Safety Ambassadors said “Without the generous sponsorship from CRASH Services and other organisations, the programme would not exist.  The sponsorship enables us to offer these presentations to schools for free which schools are very grateful for as they are finding it very hard to balance their budgets during these times”.

If your school would like to book a New Driver presentation, please contact Stephen Savage on 07793 198100 or email stephen@newdriverni.com
