Granite Exchange‘s Colleen O’Hare concluded:
“We look forward to the year ahead and doing what we can to help Cancer Focus Northern Ireland in supporting local people live their most fulfilled lives with access to world-leading, equitable cancer support, treatment, diagnosis, prevention, and research.”
Cancer Focus NI Welcomes the Partnership
Meg McKeown from Cancer Focus Northern Ireland welcomed the announcement and highlighted the importance of corporate partnerships in helping the charity continue its essential work.
“We are absolutely delighted to be working with the staff at CRASH Services, JMK Solicitors and Granite Exchange. The next 12 months will be full of a wide range of fun fundraising activities, while also spending time spreading cancer awareness in the workplace.
Every year, we need to raise £4.6 million pounds to continue to deliver our vital cancer support services and corporate partnerships play an integral part in our charity’s fundraising. We can’t wait to work with the staff to help us achieve our collective goals throughout the partnership and to make a positive difference to the local people who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis in Northern Ireland.
The reality is, every day in Northern Ireland, another 37 people are told the words “You have cancer”. This is one of the most devastating moments anyone can experience, either for themselves or for someone they love. However, it does not have to be a lonely journey.
As we look forward to opening our very first Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Enniskillen this year where local people can receive vital cancer support services, we recognise that businesses will play a massive role in the charity’s strategic direction over the coming months and years by ensuring the delivery and sustainability of the Cancer Support Centres. We can’t thank CRASH Services, JMK Solicitors and Granite Exchange enough for their support over the next 12 months, and for joining us on this exciting new journey.”
Making a Difference Across Northern Ireland
The partnership will help Cancer Focus NI continue delivering life-changing services to individuals and families affected by cancer, while also supporting prevention programmes, awareness campaigns and future developments such as its Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre.
By working together, CRASH Services, JMK Solicitors and Granite Exchange hope to raise significant funds and awareness throughout 2025, helping ensure local people continue to receive the support they need during their cancer journey.
