“I was driving up the road with my wife and grandson, going to the children’s park. I put on my indicator to turn left, and as I was about to turn, the guy behind me came straight into the back of me at about 40 or 50 miles an hour, pushing me into an electric box.
The front and the back of my car were damaged. I insisted the police were there and they did come. The guy admitted to the police that I had my indicator on to turn left. There was no hesitation on his part to admitting liability.
Once I got home, I called CRASH as I had seen them advertised on TV. I had another car at my door by 5 o’clock the next day and mine lifted away. CRASH have an inspection officer in Belfast, but he wasn’t sure whether the batteries were damaged or not, and that’s the most expensive part. So, he said he was going to write the car off. I was really happy because it didn’t cost me a penny to change to my new car.
They were on the phone often asking how I was. There was three of us in the car, and each one of us had whiplash, and CRASH kept ringing to ask if we were alright.
The part that I would find most helpful about CRASH is they do everything for you. As it says on the TV, you would think that the accident had never happened. The only thing that I had to do was lift the phone and they done the rest. CRASH do all this for you, and there’s no charge at the end of it. I would actually recommend CRASH to anybody that has an accident. There’s no hassle whatsoever, they do it all for you. Why would you try and sort things out yourself when you have somebody there that’s going to do it for you. Brilliant.”
