Jane Bassett shares her experience with CRASH Services after she was involved in a non-fault accident.

“I had just left work at 6.15 pm when a car was coming out from a side street and failed to come to a stop, crashing into the passenger side of the car. My car had spun in the road twice before coming to a stop. I was quite shaken up but managed to avoid any serious injury, however, when I returned home, I was physically sick from the shock of the accident.

I didn’t know what to do, so got my son to come and pick me up. I had never been in a road traffic accident before, so it was very traumatic.

I rang my insurance company the next day to let them know I had been in a car accident and that my car had been uplifted, and throughout that phone call they never once asked me about a courtesy car.

A family friend works for a car recovery company, she informed me about CRASH Services and gave me their contact number. I had a look on their website and looked at their services and reviews. That night I decided to contact CRASH, and from then on, I have never looked back.

Because I have never been in an accident before I had no idea what to do. I have never had to contact insurance companies or anything before. When I rang CRASH Services, Marie spoke to me that night, and the next day I had a replacement car delivered to my door. I couldn’t believe how quickly I had a replacement car. That was the thing that was worrying me the most after the accident as I needed my car for work and to travel.

CRASH put me in touch with a solicitor, they asked me did I need physio and put me in touch with one. Because I’ve never been in an accident before, I have been really anxious while driving so they put me in touch with a specialist as well.

I had a car seat in the back of the car and CRASH Services advised me to get another car seat because no matter how small a bump is the recommendation is that you should buy another car seat. So, I bought another car seat, sent the receipt to CRASH Services and an hour and a half later the money for the car seat was in my account.

I can honestly say the service and the reviews do match up to what I read. My car came back to me in a better condition than it did when it came out of the showroom, and that was thanks to CRASH Services.

I actually can’t put into words how I feel about CRASH Services, because of their service, even to the contact, to the people on the end of the phone, I spoke to two or three different people, and they were all just so lovely. There are not enough words in the English dictionary, honestly, that is how I feel about CRASH. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.”
