Station Commander Kieran Doherty has worked for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service for 29 years. The majority of his career has been dedicated to serving the community of Londonderry district responding to fires, RTCs and other emergency incidents.

Kieran has witnessed the grief and devastation caused to families and communities by irresponsible road user behaviour. Feeling very strongly about the needless loss of life of life Kieran has committed a huge part of his time to educating young people on the consequence of RTCs.
