CRASH Services are once again delighted to be the main sponsor of the annual Donard Day in aid of the Southern Area Hospice, which takes place on Saturday 17th August 2019.
Jonathan McKeown, Chief Executive Officer from CRASH commented, “This is a fantastic event to be associated with. This is third year in a row CRASH have been involved and last year nearly 100 took part raising an incredible £18,000. It is a great challenge to climb Northern Ireland’s highest mountain. We would encourage anyone to sign up with friends and family.
“To put an event on like this it is very much a team effort. We have been working with the Hospice to make sure the event is a success. We are providing t-shirts, refreshments and cover event costs, which means all participant donations goes to the Hospice.
Anne Mac Oscar of Southern Area Hospice Services said “We are delighted to launch our Annual Donard Day. It is always a brilliant day which is both challenging and rewarding for participants. We would sincerely like to thank CRASH Services for their ongoing support to the Southern Area Hospice. We have a fundraising target of £2.6 million for 2019 to help us to continue our work providing care and support for people who are living with Cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease. Events such as Donard Day are so important in helping us to achieve our target.”
