- CRASH makes money by hiring out vehicles and by buying repair invoices at a discount. In terms of repair invoices, CRASH buys these from body repair shops at a discount (known as factoring) and then recovers the full value from the at fault motorist's Insurance Company. Top

- Since the business was founded in 1996 we have helped over 10,000 motorists involved in accidents in Northern Ireland. Business levels have grown so much over the last three years that we now assist almost 100 motorists each week. This is expected to double by 2010 as awareness of our service increases. Top

- As long as you have told us the truth and continue to comply with your agreement with us we will honour your case. CRASH arranges individual Insurance policies to indemnify (protect) you should we fail to recover the cost. This ensures piece of mind and no out of pocket expenses to you. Top

- What is an Indemnity Policy?
- An Indemnity Policy is an assurance provided to you which covers the cost of legal expenses, hire and repair should these not be recovered from the guilty party or his/her insurers. Like all policies it has terms and conditions and a specimen policy will be supplied upon request. Top
- What if my car is a write off?
- In a non fault accident, if you can prove a need for a replacement vehicle similar to your own, you can hire a like for like replacement. The cost of that hire, for a period up to seven days after the write off cheque is received, is recoverable from the at fault party or his/her Insurance Company. Top
- Do I need to call my Insurance Company?
- We will notify your Insurance Company on your behalf, or ask you to notify them once we have agreed we can help you. In a non fault accident they will need to know for information purposes only. The claim is actually against the at fault motorist’s Insurance Company. Top
- How do Insurance Companies view CRASH?
- Insurance Companies are starting to see the benefits that established Accident Management companies like CRASH can provide for innocent motorists. Customer care has been greatly enhanced as motorists get a suitable replacement vehicle promptly. In fact it reduces their claims staff time spent dealing with their own not at fault policyholders. The Association of British Insurers (ABI) and Accident Managers like CRASH developed a General Terms of Agreement, which sets rates between the Insurance Companies and Accident Managers. Top

- CRASH takes a co-operative and non-exploitive approach to Insurers. It is a legal obligation to have car Insurance for obvious reasons but from a motorists perspective, there are a number of areas where an Insurance Company may not provide adequate support.
